Raquel was married first to her high school sweetheart, James Welch, in 1959.

Her acting career kicked off not long after the wedding, with Raquel choosing to use her husband's surname rather than her birth name of Tejada.

The couple had two children before they divorced in 1964.

Next, she married producer Patrick Curtis in 1966, which ended in divorce in 1973.

Patrick was a producer and actor known for A Swingin' Summer (1965) and The Sorcerers (1967).

He produced TV special Raquel in 1970, and The Beloved in 1971, which featured his wife, Raquel, and his two step-children, Damon and Tahnee.

 He also produced J-Men Forever (1979), with Damon working as a production assistant.

Patrick, who was born on June 15, 1939, played Baby Beau Wilkes in Gone with the Wind the same year as his birth.

In 1980, Raquel married French-American producer, André Weinfeld.

Her third journey down the aisle also ended in divorce in 1990.

Richard 'Richie' Palmer

Raquel's fourth and final marriage came in 1999 to actor Richard "Richie" Palmer.

He is an actor known for Nutty Professor II: The Klumps (2000), Malevolence (1999), and Zigs (2001).

Palmer was also a film producer, as well as a former restaurateur.

The couple divorced in 2008.

At the time of her death, Raquel was reportedly single.

In 2015, Raquel appeared on Piers Morgan's Life Stories, sharing that she didn't feel she needed a man.
